And now for Gallery2 - Pulau Tiga

1. The front gate of the temple.

2. There's a railroad track right in front of the gate. I wanted to lie down on it and have a photo taken, but ... my superiorly-evolved instinct for self-preservation prevented my doing so.

4. Fast forward, we are now on Pulau Tiga, the island used for the first season of survivor.

There after, a resort sprouted up on the shore of this island. Quite pleasant though, still a bit 'rough', not those obscenely overdeveloped ones.

This is a pix of the clear waters just below the jetty.

Had it been just a regular island and resort there would be nothing much further to talk about but the attraction of this island is the "Mud Volcano Tours" - touted in the itinerary as "Good News for Girls."

I wholeheartedly agree! :D

Not in the sense that you could get to see female mud wrestling (girls gone wild! Get it on DVD... NOW) but in the sense that the mud could be used for 'facial mask' purposes... hehe...

I can't begin to describe the feeling of "swimming in earth"... but it's really not unpleasant. Rather cooling, with cool new mud slushing out from an unknown source from the bottom... with the occasional large gas bubble (Ooopss.. excuse me!)

8. Group photo of us... I have to add that all eight of us made it to the peak of Mount Kinabalu later on! So a big yosh ~ yatta! for us!

9. Swimming on ground... next time let's try diving on ground...

After this... with a full coating down we went to the beach for a 'baking session'... lying down flat on the beach and feeling the 'pull' of the 'full body mask' as it dries... before.. what else, jumping in the sea!!!
