Back from Sabah - Mount Kinabalu, Pulau Tiga and all around - and back to training again!

Well, esteemed friends ..

Thanks goes to VampireM for his herculean effort in arranging all the photos, and videos.. so many memory cards, almost one full DVD's worth of visual memories .. plus a classic video which could very well be used for the promotion of unique Malaysian tourism activities.

Now, typing out this after an hour and a little more of non-stop walking.. It seems just a little bit easier to express oneself after some physical activity. (Alcohol also having the same effect.)

So my friends - did I not say that I would go back to training again on this Friday? Hehe.. then again .. I also did say that I would go up to the peak, take off my shirt and have photos taken there. Which elicited an alarmed admonishment from one of my friends to "not do crazy things up there" ... LOL ...! As it turned out, even taking off just one glove in the freezing cold up there proved to be an arduous undertaking .. So he really needn't have worried! :D

Anyway - `Nuff talk. More pictures!

Day001. Featuring the Klias River Tour - nothing too earthshaking yet, apart from proboscis monkey (locally a.k.a. the 'Dutchman'), firefly colony and wildlife sightings. And a picturesque sunset away from all the air pollution (and PCs, emails and Internet.)

Stay tuned for the following days ..

A gentle reminder, before proceeding further - make sure that you are using Mozilla Firefox, the ONLY browser, before you click on 'Read More'. The slideshow crashes IE. Have fun children ~! :D

  1. Welcome to Klias River Tours!
  2. Everybody .. Selamat Datang!
  3. In search of proboscis monkeys, "David Beckham", firefly colonies and other wildlife... and beautiful nature (insulated comfort from the rigours of nature comes easily from inside a boat!)
  4. Proboscis monkey colony - I didn't bother to crop and resize the photos, so ...
  5. ... you'd have to come here and let them see you for themselves.
  6. Picturesque sunset brings with it the anticipation of the days to come.

Please let me know if this slideshow cannot work (e.g. cannot automatically advance, or play, fwd or rev buttons don't even work)

I seem to be getting a problem with the auto slideshow in this post compared to those in "Junior, the Ventriloquism Puppet" and "Testing Out Image Gallery". -_-

EDIT : 11 May 2008, 7:21am
(After entry "Testing rsGallery2 slideshow")

The root cause of the problem has been found !

It's confirmed - the slideshow will be jammed from automatically preloading and advancing if the name of the photos are written too long that they overflow.

By renaming them to short text e.g. Test Text 1, 2, etc. - everything runs smoothly, as it should be! :D
