Entrance of Asahiyama Zoo. We had to make good time
in getting there, since it's winter, every public place seems to get ready
to close at 4.30pm as it gets dark really early - 5pm+ daylight is like our 7pm
in Malaysia, and by 9pm, you'd think it's like midnight in
Malaysia.

Some information about this zoo. Apparently, some
years back it wasn't popular, but they did extensive renovations and changed the
layout/programmes of the zoo, since then, it became Japan's most interesting
northernmost zoo. I'd agree with that, you'll see why in a
moment...
